RICHARD LILLASH
Richard Lillash is a Columbus-based fine artist. A graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, Lillash creates vivid paintings employing active brushwork and saturated color. Flashes of bare canvas or tinted board create an air of spontaneity and effortlessness in these carefully crafted studies. Influenced by early American Impressionists, post-impressionists and California plein air painters, Lillash's pieces capture small moments of every day life, whether a vase of delicate flowers or a used painter's tool.
